Nepal has patriarchal social structure and the deep-rooted ethnic caste system. Women are excluded a group in Nepal and they have a very small role in decision making. In spite of having rich and diverse cultural system discrimination among women, lower castes, and marginalized people has restricted the progress in most of the development sectors. Ecoreach aims to integrate gender equality and social inclusion by creating economic growth among the marginalized community and developing entrepreneurship by improving agriculture-based incomes. Ecoreach facilitates the agricultural productivity of farmers by providing them training and locally adaptable technologies.
Ecoreach is committed to eradicating prevalent discrimination among lower caste and minor communities in Nepal. Most of our projects are focused on women empowerment and improvement of livelihood of discriminated groups.
